ITINERARY

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel with private van at 07:00 am to start the  Sacred Valley tour. We will begin the day by traveling from Cusco over the mountains towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
After driving for 45 minutes, we will visit an small village where the local quechua speakers will teach us everything from alpaca wool and the way of dying and weaving, after all teachings we are going to have chance to shop some alpaca souveniers and presents for your families, also there are llamas and alpacas the unique andean animals, to get our llama and alpaca selfies. Then we continue to one of the viewpoints of the Sacred Valley, known as mirador de Taray, here you will be amazed by the awe-inspiring views of the Sacred Valley and the Urubamba River (The source of the longest river in the world – the Amazon River).
Continuing on, we visit and explore with our guide one of the largest archeological sites of the sacred valley of the Incas – Pisac.
After the guided tour, we keep  driving  along the beautifull valley of the inkas and  Urubamba River (Wilcamayu River) for about 1 hour to reach Urubamba where we have a typical lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we continue to the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. At this enigmatic site,  will get  a comprehensive guided tour from our profesional guide  and explore  temple of the sun, which is aligned with the nearby mountains to track important astronomical events including solstices.
Next we visit the mysterious circular terraces of moray wich according to studies, was an botanical garden made by the inka people.

Lastly. Chinchero the living inka town and the archeological site will be waiting for us.

Finally we go back to cusco for about 1hour and 15 minutes. Getting back in your hotels around 6pm.
